The site has many entry points. This page gives the recommended reading order: first the principle, then the cosmogony that situates the cascade, then a readable demonstration, results, epistemic status, and limits.
Main route
The six-step reading path
This order separates intuition, principle, cosmological passage, accessible demonstration, numerical comparison, and limits.
Understand the idea
Persistence is what passes through a constraint without losing structural identity.
02State the principle
GFT fixes the budget: total distinction = persistence + entropy.
03Read the cosmogony
The primordial cascade explains the crystallisation of 2, the emergence of time, and μ* = 15 as an attractor.
04See one proof route
The periodic table gives a robust, visual, chemical first demonstration.
05Compare with measurements
Numerical results are grouped by domain, status, and validation level.
06Inspect the limits
A credible theory must state what is proved, derived, validated, or still open.

What to keep in mind
PT does not begin with a constant to tune. It begins with a conservation constraint: a system has a total budget of distinctions. That budget may appear as persistent structure or as entropic dispersion, but the balance is exact.
The scientific question then becomes: does this conservation force recognizable structures? The first inspectable answer is the sieve; the first physical reading is cosmogony; the first robust showcase remains chemistry.
